Recently, students of the International University of Logistics and Transport participated in a lecture conducted by employees of the partner company - C.H. Robinson. Due to epidemiological restrictions, the lecture was held on-line.

During the lecture, the lecturers discussed topics connected with foreign trade in international transport as well as the logistics and road transport segments. They also presented the know-how and the role  of C.H. Robinson in global forwarding. Students gained knowledge about trade, supply chain management as well as duties and characteristics of work in the transport industry. One of the lecturers was Ms Tatsiana Chubarava, who has worked for C.H. Robinson as Sales Executive for 3 years. In her everyday work she uses negotiation skills, coordinates international tenders and deals with widely understood trade issues. The second speaker was Mr. John Joosten from Australia, who lives and works in Wrocław. His professional activity is related to TMC, a branch of C.H. Robinson.

Despite the alternative form of conducting the meeting, the lecture was very popular among the students. The lecturers presented their knowledge, resulting from valuable experience in the TFL industry, in an interesting and comprehensive way. The lecture ended with a discussion, during which the participants were able to ask questions and refer to the content presented by the lecturers. The lecture was organized as part of the project International Second Degree Logistics Studies at the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław, whose participants were our foreign students of the Master Studies in Logistics.
