How to Become a Student of IULT in Wrocław
Rules for the Admission of International Students Effective from July 1, 2025
General Information
This admission procedure applies to international candidates seeking enrolment in Bachelor’s (first-cycle) or Master’s (second-cycle) degree programs conducted in English at the University of Logistics in Wrocław (IULT).
The entire admission process is carried out online via the University’s recruitment system. Candidates, or authorized recruitment agencies acting on their behalf, are responsible for submitting all required documents through this platform.

Admission Procedure
Online Registration
Complete your registration in the IULT online recruitment system by providing the necessary application information.
Submission of Required Documents
For Bachelor’s Degree Applicants:
- Secondary School Diploma or Certificate, accompanied by an apostille or legalization
- Certified translation of the diploma into Polish or English (if the original document is in another language)
- Medical certificate for higher education, translated by a sworn translator
- Copy of passport
- Recent photograph in JPG format, 236 x 295 pixels, 300 dpi resolution
For Master’s Degree Applicants:
- Bachelor’s Degree diploma, accompanied by an apostille or legalization
- Diploma Supplement (Transcript of Records), translated and accompanied by apostille or legalization
- Medical certificate for higher education, translated by a sworn translator
- Copy of passport
- Recent photograph in JPG format, 236 x 295 pixels, 300 dpi resolution
Document Verification
All submitted documents will undergo a thorough review by our International Office.
Payment of Admission Fee
Upon receipt of the conditional acceptance, applicants are required to remit a non-refundable admission fee of 100 EUR to the university’s designated account.
English Language Proficiency Check
Candidates must demonstrate minimum B2 proficiency in English.
Options for English Language Proficiency Verification:
- Submission of a valid English language certificate recognized by the University in accordance with applicable regulations; or
- Participation in an oral proficiency examination conducted online via Zoom by a certified language examiner (video presence required)
Candidates who do not hold an accepted certificate are required to take the internal English language proficiency test administered by IULT.
This examination is conducted free of charge.

Upon successful completion of the English placement test at a minimum B2 level a conditional acceptance letter will be issued through the recruitment system.
Academic Recognition by NAWA (If Applicable)
In cases where your secondary school or university diploma is not automatically recognized in Poland, the University will submit an application for academic recognition to NAWA on your behalf.
Applicants are required to provide the following documents:
- Certified translations of diplomas into Polish or English
- Diplomas legalized or bearing an apostille
- Additional documents as required based on the country of origin
Please note: The recognition process may take up to 60 days, and the decision will be issued exclusively in Polish.
In instances where a NAWA recognition decision is not mandatory for visa issuance (e.g., due to the applicant’s legal residence in Poland), conditional admission may be granted. However, the applicant remains obligated to obtain and submit the official NAWA recognition decision no later than the end of the first semester.
Failure to secure a positive recognition decision within the stipulated deadline will result in immediate removal from the student register, with no entitlement to reimbursement of tuition fees or any other payments made to the University.
Entrance Examination (Bachelor’s Degree Applicants – Selected Candidates Only)
Candidates whose secondary school diplomas are not recognized are required to undergo an entrance examination.
- Format: The examination will be conducted as an online interview via Zoom, with mandatory video presence.
- Assessing Body: The Admissions Committee, consisting of designated university officials, will oversee the evaluation.
- Scope: Candidates will be asked to answer three questions, randomly selected from a predetermined pool, relevant to their chosen field of study.
- Fee: This examination is offered free of charge.
Final Admission Decision
After passing all required steps (entrance and/or language exam), the university issues an official admission decision via the recruitment system.
Tuition Fee Payment
The candidate is required to remit the tuition fee corresponding to at least the first semester of studies in order to complete the admission process.

Acceptance Letter for Visa Purposes
Upon confirmation of the tuition fee payment, IULT will issue an official Acceptance Letter, which serves as a required document for the visa application process.
The Acceptance Letter will be delivered either through the online recruitment system or, if expressly required by the consular authorities, via international courier to the address provided by the candidate.
