On November 14, 2024, the International Scientific Conference on Logistics and Transport in the Contemporary Economy: Human Resource Management in the TSL Sector – New Challenges took place at the International University of Logistics and Transport (IULT) in Wrocław. The conference was held in a hybrid format, both on-campus and online.

The conference was officially opened by the Rector, Dr. Marcin Pawęska, Assoc. Prof. IULT. The gathered guests and online participants were welcomed by Dr. Michał Kruszyński, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Logistics and Transport.

The thematic areas of the conference included:

- Human resource management in the TSL (Transport, Shipping, Logistics) sector,

- Transformations and development prospects in transport and logistics,

- Collaboration and innovation in building employee teams in the TSL sector as a source of competitive advantage for companies,

- Technologies and operational conditions in transport, and its funding sources,

- Modern challenges and problems in the logistics of procurement, production, and distribution,

- Innovations and new trends in logistics systems,

- The TSL sector in relation to the national economy.

Following the speakers' presentations, a discussion panel provided participants with the opportunity to share their experiences and reflections. The final item on the agenda was a tour of the Industry Skills Centre in Logistics, managed by the IULT in Wrocław.
