THE FIRST PLENARY MEETING OF THE SECTORAL COUNCIL FOR COMPETENCES

On 8 October 2025, the first plenary meeting of the Sectoral Council for Competences in the Road Transport and Road Transport Logistics sector was held in the Club Hall of the University of Wrocław. The meeting was attended by all members appointed by the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy.

During the meeting:

• the Presidium of the Council was elected: Dr Marcin Pawęska, Professor at the IULT (Chairperson) and Prof. Dr Eng. Marcin Ślęzak (Vice-Chairperson),
• the Chairs of the Working Groups were appointed: Witold Wiśniewski, Mariusz Michałowski, and Prof. Dr Eng. Marcin Ślęzak,
• the creation of three Working Groups was recommended: Legislation and Consultations, Competences and Qualifications, and Information and Image,
• the work plan and regulations of the Council were adopted.

After the formal part, there was a discussion on the key challenges and strategic directions of action which will help to achieve the Council’s objectives. This meeting marked an important step in strengthening cooperation aimed at developing competences in the road transport and logistics sector.
