STUDY VISIT AT LOTNICZY DWORZEC TOWAROWY SP. Z O.O. COMPANY

On November 12, 2019, students of the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw participated in a study visit at Lotniczy Dworzec Towarowy sp.z o.o. company in Wroclaw. It took place as part of the TFL Leaders Project - Competencies Development Program. The purpose of the visit was to show students the ways and methods of managing a comprehensive logistics package. Students also became familiar with issues related to Lean Manufacturing implemented in the factory, and the functioning of international logistics processes related to them. In addition, they developed their entrepreneurial and leadership competencies, and also gained knowledge about team management.

Lotniczy Dworzec Towarowy sp. z o.o. company has operated at the Wroclaw Airport since June 1, 1999. The company's goal is to create the best conditions for the functioning and development of comprehensive logistics services related to air and road transport of goods at the Wrocław Airport. LDT company also offers warehouse services related to the customs, bonding and national warehouse, as well as comprehensively supports road, air and sea transport.
