On November 26, 2019, students of the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw participated in a study visit at the NSK Steering Systems Europe (Polska) sp. z o.o. in Wałbrzych. It took place as a part of the Automotive Leaders project - a program to develop competencies and professional internships for students of the IULT major Management. The main purpose of the visit was to familiarise students with the management processes used in the company, and to gain knowledge about the functioning of an international corporation. In addition, students had the opportunity to observe the Japanese management method in practice, as well as learn about modern technologies and solutions used in a factory.

Established over 100 years ago, the NSK is a company registered in Japan that has evolved from a regional supplier of ball bearings to a rolling-element bearing specialist and automotive parts supplier operating on the global market. In addition to the complete range of rolling-element bearings, the NSK company develops and produces precise components and mechatronic products, as well as systems and parts for the automotive industry, including wheel bearing assemblies and electrically assisted steering systems.
