On 7th October 2021, the official opening ceremony of the Academic Year 2021/2022 took place. Due to the current restrictions, we were forced to limit the number of people staying at the Oratorium Marianum Hall during the inauguration. For all those who wanted to attend the ceremony, we prepared a live broadcast of the event. It was a great pleasure to host several hundred on-line guests.

The ceremony started with the official greeting by the Rector of the IULT, Dr. Marcin Pawęska, who addressed his warm words especially to the students starting their studies at the IULT in Wrocław. During the opening speech, the Rector summed up the previous academic year, full of awards and distinctions. He also emphasized the merits of people, institutions and enterprises, thanks to whom it is possible to improve the didactic process at the IULT in Wrocław.

During the ceremony, first-year students made their solemn vows. Afterwards, the Rector honored the graduate Youssef el Youssi for the best thesis. The President's scholarship for the best academic results in the 2020/2021 academic year was awarded to Ngoc Chi Tran.

On behalf of the students, their representative, Dominika Dąda, made a speech and warmly welcomed all gathered people. She also congratulated the students of the first year on their choice of the university, as well as gave them some important and friendly advice.

An important point of the ceremony was the lecture titled Globalization and changes as determinants of logistics development, given by Barbara Kaśnikowska, General Manager Wrocław Aircraft, Maintenance Services.

At the end, diplomas were handed out to the graduates of the IULT, who began a new stage in their lives. We believe that knowledge and experience gained within the University walls will contribute to many professional successes.
