As part of the study visit, students of the postgraduate studies Management and Operation of Railway Infrastructure visited the Local Traffic Control Centre in Wrocław.

Participants of the visit had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Bombardier computer rail traffic control devices and track accessibility devices. They also got to know the specifics of working as a railway operator. Students also saw diagnostic rooms and server rooms. Participants got to know the construction of a rail-road crossing, barrier and setting devices operating at a distance. Safety rules in case of finding yourself between the turnpikes and methods of communication in crisis situations were also discussed.

The students gained valuable practical knowledge, which complements the theoretical knowledge acquired during classes at the university.
