INTERNATIONAL DAY – STUDENTS VISIT AT THE INCORA COMPANY

On May 12, 2023, students from the IULT in Wrocław, studying in English, took part in the International Day at Incora. The participants of the meeting were also students from project: Comprehensive Joint Master Studies in Logistics.

Incora is a leading, independent distributor and global provider of innovative supply chain solutions. The company's team consist of employees from all over the world.

The students had the opportunity to get to know the company's employees better during breakfast, which consisted of dishes from different part of the world.

Company ambassadors presented the students with the characteristics of the company, statistics of hiring new staff from different countries and employment opportunities at the company. Among the ambassadors were people who were looking for job during studies or after graduation, without knowledge of the Polish language.

The main points of the meeting were the discussion and exchange of experience between company employees and the students from the IULT in Wrocław. The conversation focused on opportunities and barriers to searching for jobs by students using English only.

The company recognizes the importance of diversity and inclusion of employees. The meeting was an excellent opportunity for the students to present themselves but also a valuable experience and a lot of important information for the company which can be helpful in creating new job offers. The meeting  was concluded by visiting various departments and  discussing   the scopes of responsibilities  for  specific positions.

We are pleased that more companies in the logistics industry are opening into English-speaking candidates and enable them to develop within their  structures. This allows companies to gain valuable employees with specialized education.
