A SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR OF THE LOGISTIQUA STUDENT RESEARCH SOCIETY
On 23 March 2026, the Logistiqua Student Research Society, under the academic supervision of Dr. Eng. Małgorzata Borkowska, hosted a scientific seminar entitled “Challenges in the TSL Industry – Theory and Practice.”
The event aimed to foster the exchange of knowledge and experience between theory and practice within the TSL sector, which has seen rapid growth in recent years while also facing numerous challenges. The seminar provided an excellent opportunity to explore current trends, emerging issues and future directions within the industry’s development.
During the seminar, the participants attended a series of engaging presentations covering topics such as rail transport, the impact of new technologies on the TSL sector, logistics in the Volunteer Fire Brigade (Pl.: OSP), legal aspects of logistics, as well as the functioning of the taxi industry in Wrocław. A particular highlight was the participation of students who gain professional experience daily in companies such as Jaxan, OSP, and Ryba Taxi. Their practical insights allowed other participants to consider the discussed topics from diverse and highly practical perspectives.
An important element of the seminar was also the debate session, where participants could ask questions and exchange ideas. The discussions focused on issues such as the development of rail transport, challenges in digitalising logistics processes, and the need to adapt to dynamically changing legal regulations.
The seminar attracted considerable interest and received very positive feedback from the participants. Once again, the Logistiqua Student Research Society demonstrated its active engagement in organising valuable academic initiatives which support the development of students’ competences and the integration of the TSL-related community.
The event was attended by both students and members of the academic community.
