From April 14–18, 2026, another edition of the course was held as part of the project Development of Intensive International Education Programmes and Their Implementation as an Element of Expanding the Educational Offer at the International University of Logistics and Transport.

 

A group of 20 international students participated in the course, including participants from China, Morocco, India and Hungary. During the 30-hour course Artificial Intelligence in Logistics and Supply Chain, attendees gained knowledge of modern technologies supporting logistics processes.

 

The programme covered, among other topics:

  • relationships between the supply chain and the logistics chain,
  • fundamentals of artificial intelligence (AI),
  • predictive analytics in demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning,
  • applications of AI in warehousing, logistics, and transport processes,
  • the use of AI-powered robots and autonomous vehicles in transport,
  • visual artificial intelligence and deep learning technologies in object recognition and automation of goods reception through independent product identification,
  • trends in the development of AI in logistics and supply chain management,
  • laboratory sessions.

 

The course concluded with an examination. Participants who passed received a certificate confirming competencies valued in the TSL (transport, shipping, and logistics) job market.

 

The project is funded by the European Social Development Fund 2021–2027 (FERS) and is implemented under the NAWA project titled “Support for the Creation and Implementation of International Education Programmes”, project no. FERS.01.05-IP.08-0436/23.
