AUTOMATION AND DIGITALISATION IN PRACTICE
From April 20–24, 2026, a course on automation and digitalisation in production and warehousing processes was held at the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wrocław.
Nearly 30 students took part in the event, including both international participants and students from the IULT in Wrocław. As part of the 30-hour course Application of Automation and Digitalisation in Production and Warehousing Processes, participants gained both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
The programme covered, among other topics:
- basics of production and warehousing processes,
- automation of warehouse processes,
- types and systems of warehouse automation,
- improving the efficiency of automated warehouses,
- digitalisation in manufacturing companies,
- digitalisation in warehouses, including the transition to cloud-based documentation,
- automation of production processes,
- laboratory sessions.
The course concluded with an examination. Participants who passed received a certificate confirming competencies valued in the TSL (transport, shipping, and logistics) job market.

The project is funded by the European Social Development Fund 2021–2027 (FERS) and is implemented under the NAWA project titled “Support for the Creation and Implementation of International Education Programmes”, project no. FERS.01.05-IP.08-0436/23.
