Students’ meeting with the Kuehne+Nagel company

On January 25, 2018 IULT students in the framework of the project ‘TFL Leaders – the Development Competence Programme’ – visited the Kuehne+Nagel company. The aim of the visit was to make students acquainted with functioning and organization of the international distribution center. During the visit, all company’s activities were presented to our students, as well as the warehouse and the specific warehouse processes like: the acquisition of supplies, storage, retrieval and consolidation, packing, loading and shipping. Moreover, returns and complaints and quality processes were explained. IULT students had a chance to get to know the complexity of logistics processes between a producer and an ultimate consumer, typical operations in the high-bay warehouse and became familiar with procedures and new solutions used in the company.
