STUDY VISIT TO STARION POLAND

On May 10, 2023, students of the IULT in Wrocław visited Starion Poland Sp. z o.o. in Biskupice Podgórne as part of the Qualified Staff for the Automotive Industry in Lower Silesia project.

Starion Poland Sp. z o. o. is part of the international Starion group consisting of 16 factories located around the world. The company's branch in Wrocław is distinguished by advanced technology of production processes and specializes in the production of products for the household appliances, consumer electronics and automotive industries.

The purpose of the study visit was to show students what it's like to work in an international production company.

A meeting was organized for students in the conference room, where OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) training and a presentation were held, during which students learned about the history of the company. Thanks to a visit to the production hall, students saw how the partially automated production of batteries for electric cars works. Then the students were shown around the company's warehouse and had the opportunity to talk to a warehouse logistics specialist with 10 years of experience.

Study visit to Starion Poland Sp. z o. o. is an opportunity for students to see how working in individual departments looks like, as well as an opportunity to learn about the internal structure of the company.
